Purchaser
BCT Structures is currently seeking a creative and results-orientated person to join our Purchaing Department. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in purchasing all the components needed for residential and light industrial builds. This person will have the opportunity to join a strong Purchasing team and help develop creative solutions and work on complex projects in a fast passed team environment.
The basic functions of the Purchaser include:

Purchasing of all components needed for the manufacture of Modular Structures,

Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and work to develop relationships with new suppliers

Performing material take-offs from drawings and specifiations
A successful candidate will have:
-
3 or more year expereince in a purchasing position

Experience in purchasing raw materials, equipment and services for residential and light industrial projects - including plumbing, HVAC and electrical

PMAC Certification or working towards certification

Proven ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications

Take pride in high attention to detail

Team player

Ability to work with minimul supervision
